ORBIT (Outcome Reporting Bias in Trials) Matrix Generator
Description
The ORBIT Team recommend including an outcome matrix in systematic reviews to help identify missing study outcome data as it provides a transparent way for systematic reviewers to show the outcomes that are reported for each study in the review, and those that are missing or partially reported. For trials that do not or partially report on outcomes, the matrix allows reviewers to assess the risk of outcome reporting bias according to the ORBIT classification system. The ORBIT matrix generator, available on the ORBIT website, is a tool that researchers can easily use to construct an ORBIT outcome matrix, which researchers can also export for inclusion in a systematic review article.
